With a wealth of knowledge about health technology and trusted connections across the NHS and digital health industry, Lyndon has played key roles in scaling health-tech businesses for over 20 years. Whether your business is a startup, SME, or member of an Academic Health Science Network (AHSN), Lyndon offers tactical and strategic support with a huge amount of energy and focus on finding the right solutions. His extensive clinical and managerial experience in primary, secondary, community and private healthcare are key in understanding and supporting the needs of health technology companies and startups when going to market.
When he’s not making things happen at 8fold, Lyndon enjoys playing tennis, kitesurfing (although he prefers the water to be a little warmer these days!), reading about history, theology and spending time with his beautiful family.

Adam is our specialist information governance lead with a long career working extensively with NHS trusts, CCG’s, private healthcare providers and digital health technology companies. His true expertise lies in data protection and privacy law, information risk management, data flow mapping and the practical application of data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and information sharing agreements (ISA), making him a trusted advisor and communicator across the industry.
Adam is also a lover of the great outdoors. You’ll often find him exploring the UK in his VW campervan looking for the next mountain to climb or stream to cross. On top of this, he’s been volunteering with the Scout Association as an Explorer Scout Leader for over 10 years, supporting young people to learn skills for life. Adam also enjoys playing the guitar, although we hear this enjoyment isn’t always shared by those who have to listen to him!

Hugh’s background is in neuroscience and cognitive sciences. He specialises in researching key opportunities and the right relationships for digital health technology start ups. He is passionate about digital health ecosystems and brings a fresh new perspective on getting your company in front of the right people.
When he’s not keeping the team on track at 8fold, Hugh runs a gym in Bexhill which he co-owns. This is where you’ll find Hugh spending most of his evenings and weekends, coaching and competing in crossfit sports.

After almost 20 years in the industry, Gurpreet is an experienced communicator with specialist knowledge of the healthtech industry. Her early career started in the NHS where she led pioneering communications programmes for the primary, acute and social care sectors, before delivering a number of central Government funded programmes to improve information sharing practices and policy across the Department of Health, Department for Work and Pensions and the Home Office. As someone who is able to articulate a vision into reality, Gurpreet has developed and scaled numerous healthtech brands, including the UK’s digital health records market leader.
Aside from all this, Gurpreet loves to travel. Her passion for experiencing new cultures and traditions, paired with her love for photography helps her to capture the special moments in life. She also enjoys snorkelling, kayaking, meditation and philosophy, but most of all, spending time with friends and loved ones.

Karen is a nurse by background and completed her training at the University of Stirling in 2007. She has since worked across both public and private hospitals, gaining extensive experience in the areas of risk management, clinical safety and training.
With her specialist interest in primary care and asthma, Karen maintained her registration for general practice while leading the deployment of new IT systems and training staff in digital health applications and technology used in the NHS. As such, Karen is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (04I0460S) and has completed her own training in Clinical Risk Management.
Outside of all this, Karen is another lover of the great outdoors. She is passionate about exploring and travelling, whether that’s in her camper van in the UK, or overseas while kitesurfing and snowboarding. This love of the outdoors has enabled Karen to live and work in some spectacular places. Amongst all this, she also enjoys cooking.

Haniyah is a registered midwife, clinical safety officer and Shuri Network digital fellow (2022). Since completing her midwifery dissertation on the, “Use of Virtual Reality and Gaming to Enhance Midwifery Education”, Haniyah has been passionately exploring the vast opportunities that digital health provides. Collaboration, creativity, but most importantly – improvement of safety and quality services for everyone is what drives Haniyah to passionately lead and work within such a satisfying field.
However, when she isn’t supporting our clients with their clinical safety needs, Haniyah spends her time at the gym, mainly powerlifting, as well as gaming, travelling, hiking and cooking.

Shailesh has worked alongside customers ranging from national and regional health bodies, local clinical teams and app and device manufacturers. Given his clinical experience as an acute medical doctor in the NHS, Shailesh is well placed to understand end-user needs and communicate effectively with health service users and patients.

Karen has over 10 years of experience in accounting and book-keeping, with specialist knowledge of ERP, Xero, ZOHO and Quickbooks. Supported by her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management Accounting, Karen has handled the accounts of numerous companies in manufacturing, e-commerce, food and beverage, real estate and events. In addition, Karen has vast experience in lead generation and prospecting using social media.
When she’s not busy keeping us organised or generally being fab, Karen spends her time on community outreach projects, planting and gardening, and is also a keen photographer.
